WHAT DO YOU ACCOMPLISH?

All students are welcome, regardless of whether they are doing IB or not. 

  • Cross-cultural effectiveness skills: Gained through exposure to different ethnic groups and daily interaction with a variety of age groups in the host community. 
  • Invaluable hands-on experience: Important skills developed through working on international development issues. KULE also offers you the chance to develop your understanding of the importance of compassion and service to the less privileged and to address the poverty issues, effectively. 
  • Complete CAS requirements: For International Baccalaureate diploma candidates. And in truly exciting, intellectually stimulating and out-of-the-ordinary settings! 

 

  • Living with a Kenyan host family: This is one of the better and fun ways to immerse in a new culture.(Optional)
  • Lasting friendships: With your fellow participants and with people from other parts of the world.
  • Learning more about yourself: A major boost to your personal growth, especially in challenging conditions outside of your familiar zone.
  • Spectacular Safari experience: With close up views of some of the world's largest game. Need to specially request during the Application Process. Please indicate it in the application form.
  • Adventure and excitement: Throughout the program!
